Join Us for a Day of Art and Exploration!
Come and spend a day with illustrator Gijsbert (also known as Mr. Nick) and author Robbyn van Frankenhuyzen! Both have drawn inspiration from their expansive forty acres of natural habitat, where they have cultivated environments for butterflies and bluebirds, established Michigan prairies, and worked on preserving wetlands.
The day will feature:
A walking tour led by Robbyn
A painting lesson in the studio with Mr. Nick

Intended for youth 8-16 years of age. Parents are welcome to stay.

*Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a sack lunch. We ask that participants dress in weather appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes for hiking (bug spray is also an option). Parents are encouraged to select clothes they don’t mind paint on or packing a paint shirt to put over clothing.
